first post to talk about an exciting event that is coming up tomorrow; the Medieval Fair. The Abbey Mill team will be heading over to Furness Abbey to sell refreshments to all of you who will be joining us in taking a step back in time tomorrow. Being able to run Abbey Mill from the breathtaking ruins of Furness Abbey was such a treat for us last year and we're looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow. Last year we even learnt a thing or two about life in medieval England too. With performances from groups such as the Iron Shepherds, music, story telling and much more, this is a fantastic day out for the kids as well as the adults and it's the perfect opportunity to take a look around the Abbey and the museum if you haven't done so before. For those of you attending the fair, don't forget Abbey Mill will be selling refreshments so come and join us for a freshly baked piece of cake and refuel with a cup of tea but we will unfortunately be shutting the cafe for this event.
